OMG- I have the coolest clients. Like, the actual coolest. Liz and I go way way way back to our freshman year of college- I would try and tease her curly locks into an afro- and she would come utilize my on campus apartment kitchen space, tit for tat. Since then- Liz has transformed into a small business owning silversmith right here in Duluth by founding Fond of That- a hand crafted, sterling silver, finery line which I had the honor of helping her brand.
She built her silversmithing studio in the basement of her Piedmont home. The space is shared with her totally babe fiancé who founded Winter Works - another local small business who hand builds traditional winter camping equipment. Here, Liz has conceptualized an incredible collection of sterling silver earrings which you can purchase via her website fondofthat.com. Her talents aren't just limited to jewelry crafting- oh no no. I would go so far as to say that she also maintains a pretty incredible lifestyle presence on Instagram (@fondofthat) where she shares photos of her interior styling, an ideal blend of Duluth's ever popular shabby-chic style and Swedish minimalism. Liz and bae renovated their home themselves, it's custom everything and totally to die for.
